Shihan Carlos S. Vélez II

Great friend and advisor, Shihan Carlos S. Vélez II knows Adrián Becerril since many years ago.  He is always in the best  aptitude to help Becerril in Dojo matters and in personnal matters too.
Shihan Carlos S. Vélez II began to practice Goju Ryu Karate in 1966 with Sensei José Angel Martínez.   In 1967 Martínez and him began to practice Kyokushinkai Karate with Sensei Bobby Ríos, the first Kyokushinkai Branch Chief in Puerto Rico designated by Masutatsu Oyama.  Vélez  practiced several Karate systems, reaching  the Black Belt Degree in all of them.   At present  is  Godan (Black Belt, 5th Degree).
Shihan Carlos S. Vélez II is Martial Arts Journalist and Philosopher,  loves to read and write a lot and knows what is happening in many Karate dojos around the world, specially in Kyokushin Karate organizations.  He knows who is who,  and always prefers to say the truth although it could bring him any mishap.   He also is Official Advisor of several Karate Schools, one of them the American Kyokushin Karate Organization of Kyoshi Frederick S. Buck.  In Puerto Rico, many famous Karate teachers take counsel with him about their dojo matters and he has helped them enhance their organizations by contacting their schools with other Karate organizations in the world.
